Are you looking for ways to deepen your prayer life? Join us we look at techniques to help your prayer life feel more vibrant and less routine. Pastor Tina Heise, daughter of Divinity and pastor of St. Peter New Pittsburg, will be leading the morning. This workshop is ideal for people who would like to learn how to better integrate prayer in their marriage; praying when discerning life transitions; or for those looking to discover a new prayer discipline. We will meet in Classroom 19/20/21 on Saturday, November 9 from 10am - 12pm. While there is no admission charge, a suggested $5 donation is encouraged to offset supplies.

Mark you calendar for the concert at 7 p.m. on October 19th. This concert will feature our Divinity music ministry musicians. Participating will be Pete Dinin, Marlene Dray, Tricia and Ian Crane, Don and Kathy Dregalla and Bobby Reilly.

All Arts in Action events are free and open to the public, so invite your family and friends.

This is hard work and we really need your help for Set Up on Wednesday, October 9 from 12-Noon to 8pm and for Clean Up on Friday, October 11 beginning around 12-Noon. Please come help if you can!

Regarding donations: The youth really appreciate all of your support and donations, but, we cannot accept printers, computer monitors, entertainment centers or TVs that are not “flat screens.” All proceeds benefit Divinity’s Youth Mission Trip to Puerto Rico.

Saturday, October 5 at 6 p.m. Tickets are on sale between services. Dinner: $27; Dinner and Extra Clams: $38. The dinner will be held at the Spyglass Hill Community Room. You are all invited to what will be a wonderful recital by two members of the Cleveland Orchestra here at Divinity on Sunday, September 15. Elayna Duitman, violin and Carolyn Warner will perform works of Mozart, Brahms and a popular tango in the sanctuary at 2 p.m. This is a rare chance to hear two fantastic Cleveland Orchestra musicians perform a free concert.
