Mark you calendar for the concert at 7 p.m. on October 19th. This concert will feature our Divinity music ministry musicians. Participating will be Pete Dinin, Marlene Dray, Tricia and Ian Crane, Don and Kathy Dregalla and Bobby Reilly.

All Arts in Action events are free and open to the public, so invite your family and friends.

This is hard work and we really need your help for Set Up on Wednesday, October 9 from 12-Noon to 8pm and for Clean Up on Friday, October 11 beginning around 12-Noon. Please come help if you can!

Regarding donations: The youth really appreciate all of your support and donations, but, we cannot accept printers, computer monitors, entertainment centers or TVs that are not “flat screens.” All proceeds benefit Divinity’s Youth Mission Trip to Puerto Rico.

Saturday, October 5 at 6 p.m. Tickets are on sale between services. Dinner: $27; Dinner and Extra Clams: $38. The dinner will be held at the Spyglass Hill Community Room. Proceeds to Divinity’s Operating Budget. Bakery is needed for the clambake. If you can donate baked items or have questions, contact Jim Votava or Greg Simon.

You are all invited to what will be a wonderful recital by two members of the Cleveland Orchestra here at Divinity on Sunday, September 15. Elayna Duitman, violin and Carolyn Warner will perform works of Mozart, Brahms and a popular tango in the sanctuary at 2 p.m. This is a rare chance to hear two fantastic Cleveland Orchestra musicians perform a free concert. Sponsored by Divinity’s Arts and Action Committee, this will be the first of the 2019-20 schedule of events. Circle the date now!

Join us on Sunday, September 8 for Rally Day at Divinity. Sunday School resumes for all ages at 10am. Signs will be posted if you need help finding your room. The 11am contemporary worship service will be outdoors (weather permitting), followed by a picnic at noon. At 12:30pm, service activities for God's Work our Hands will begin in the Fellowship Hall. After a light lunch at 12:30pm, we will be:

  • Assembling School Supply Bags for Lutheran World Relief Promise School Kits.
    Thanks to your generosity, ALL supplies for this project have been collected.
  • Packing Toiletry Bags for Redeemer Crisis Center.
    We Need: Hand towels and Travel size or small: shampoo, small tissue packets, conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash, shavers, shaving cream, lotion, combs, and shower wash.
  • Boxing Regular Size supplies for Parma Park families in need which the Principal and Liaison will distribute as a family’s need arises.
    We Need: Detergent, Dish Soap, Deodorant, Shampoo, Bar Soap, Toilet Paper, Kleenex, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Lotion
  • Sorting Plastic Caps and Lids for the “ABC – A Bench for Caps” Project
