Arts in Action is a program of Divinity Lutheran Church whose purpose is to infuse the local community, using the church as a venue, for community outreach in all forms of the fine and performing arts.
Many events have taken place over the years with Arts in Action, and as a result we have seen over 4,000 people pass through the doors into our sanctuary. Notable artists such as Hector Olivera, Rodney Barbour, Tangled Blue, Scott Hanoian and the Parma Symphony Orchestra have performed in concert. Local talent and visual artists have presented their work. We have had handbell choirs, barber shop singers, and Divinity's own musicians give performances. In the past, Arts in Action has also teamed up with the area high schools to present concerts involving their music departments. Some of these previous performances included the John Rutter Requiem and Mendelssohn's Elijah.
Sunday, January 23 at 2pm: Cleveland Celtic Ensemble. This event will be live streamed on our concert page.
