April 14 - Palm Sunday
9:00am - Traditional Worship with Holy Communion
Service will start in the Fellowship Hall, with a procession to the sanctuary.
11:00am - Contemporary Worship with Holy Communion
Service will start in the Fellowship Hall, with a procession to the sanctuary.
April 18 - Maundy Thursday
12:00pm - Worship with Holy Communion
We commemorate the Last Supper and Jesus' commandment to love one another.
7:00pm - Worship with Holy Communion
Our 4th graders will re-enact the Last Supper and receive their First Communion at the 7:00pm service. At the end of the service, the altar will be stripped in preparation for Good Friday.
April 19 - Good Friday
12:00pm - Tre Ore Service
This is a community worship service with preachers from Divinity as well as other churches in the area. Each preacher will give a sermon on one of the seven last "Words" that Jesus spoke from the cross. Each section features a hymn and a musical offering. This service typically lasts 2 1/2 to 3 hours total, but you are welcome to come or go at any time.
7:00pm - Tenebrae Service
The word "Tenebrae" means darkness in Latin. Seven scripture passages are read telling the Crucifixion story, each followed by the extinguishing of a candle and the gradual darkening of the sanctuary. There is no sermon or Holy Communion at this service.
April 20 - Holy Saturday
5:30pm - Easter Vigil Service
Our Saturday night service will start in the parlor or courtyard (weather permitting), and with a procession into the sanctuary. Holy Communion will be celebrated at this service.
April 21 - Easter Sunday
6:30am - Sunrise Service
Traditional Easter worship service with Holy Communion, held in the chapel.
9:00am - Traditional Worship with Holy Communion
Traditional Easter worship service.
11:00am - Contemporary Worship
Contemporary Easter service with music lead by our worship band, Chosen.
