Twiggs-Havel Library

The Twiggs-Havel Library is open on Sunday mornings and Wednesday mornings from
9 a.m. to Noon.  Come in, browse and pick out a book!

Did you know Divinity’s Library is full of books for readers of all ages?  Fiction, non-fiction, self-help, devotionals, youth and children’s books are just some of the many books you can find in our church library.  What better time to explore and discover a hidden treasure than during the summer months.

Join the Summer Reading Club by stopping by the library, located across from Pastor Doug’s office, and signing up.  The forms are located on the desk in the Library.  Fill out a form and put it in the box labeled SRC (Summer Reading Club).

1. Sign out books from the CHURCH library

2. Read the book and return it to the box marked SRC in the library

3. Your selection will be recorded. Credit will be given for that book

4. Adults and youth (grade 4-12) who read 5 books will be recognized for their achievement.

5. Children (preschool to grade 3) who read 10 books (from the class 15 children’s category) will be recognized. These books are shorter and geared to younger children.

6. Make it a family event and have everyone join the SRC and read.

The SRC starts June 17 and your last selection must be returned by August 19.

Come and visit the Twiggs-Havel Library of Divinity Lutheran Church where we have books for every reader and age. Located across
from Pastor Doug's office, our collection features thousands of Christian books - biographies, devotionals, Bibles, and many titles of fiction and nonfiction as well as a children's section.

Our library is funded solely by the donations of members and friends devoted to Christian reading.  If you would like to support our library financially, please make your check payable to Divinity Lutheran Church and designate in the memo section that your donation is for the Twiggs-Havel Library.  The donation may be placed in the offering plate or dropped off in the church office.  We also accept gently used or new Christian books.

For more information, leave a message for Jackie Difford at the church office (440-845-2060).
