 NEW MEMBER INQUIRY
Divinity Lutheran Church receives new members quarterly and, if the number of prospects indicates a need for additional
opportunities, more frequently.
At the time three one hour sessions for New Member Inquiry are scheduled and announced, prospective members
-- both Lutheran and non-Lutheran -- are invited to attend. These single sessions are held on Sunday
mornings at 10 a.m. during the Sunday School Hour. Although interested
persons attend the inquiry sessions without obligation, all are
invited to be received into membership on the fourth Sunday during the
11:00 a.m. hour of worship.
Inquiry sessions provide a forum for questions and instruction.
Divinity staff and lay leaders describe Parish Life, Social
Ministry, Witness, Stephen Ministries, Parish Education, Worship,
Youth, Library, Women of the Church, Finance, Stewardship, Property
Management, Communications, Voyagers, and Via de Cristo.
