Vatican Splendors Exhibit - View almost 200 works of art and
historically significant objects, many of which have never left the
Vatican. The exhibit is organized into four thematic sections that
illustrate the evolution of the Church and its papacy beginning with
St. Peter through the papacy of Pope Benedict XVI, with special
emphasis on the founding 500 years ago of the Renaissance St. Peter’s
Basilica, the Papal Swiss Guard and the Vatican Museums. Be
transported to the Vatican, from the underground catacombs where the
remains of St. Peter were discovered to the magnificent papal
chambers. From the sights and sounds of the grand Basilica to a
touchable cast of John Paul II"s hand. Experience 2,000 years of
Vatican art and history. Visit the Vatican Splendors Exhibit with
Divinity on Sunday, August 17. We will leave the church parking lot at

Do you check expiration dates on canned goods and food items?
Before we pack food baskets we check for the expiration date so we
don’t give food items to families that have already expired. If they
have expired we throw the food away. As grateful as we are for food
you bring in please do not bring in food that has expired. We cannot
use it and it must be discarded. From March through June we received
about 20 items of food that had expired, some as far back as 2005!
Please check your food items before bringing them in. Thanks again to
everyone who faithfully remembers their neighbor in need on a regular
basis and helps us feed families.
Electronic Giving - Open your heart without opening your
checkbook. There are several reasons to sign up for Electronic
Giving: No need to write checks or bring cash to church; peace-of-mind
knowing that the church is receiving your contribution even if you are
unable to attend; more secure than checks; all contributions are
recorded for you on your bank statement with date of settlement; it
costs you nothing. If you sign up and later find you don’t like it,
you can cancel your authorization by notifying the church at any time.
If you have any questions or need an authorization form please contact
Larry Jones in the church office.
Sherwin Williams sponsors "Neighbor to Neighbor" Program.

Federal law greatly restricts the disclosure of
patient information by hospitals. As a result, the pastor and
church office may not know that a member has been admitted to the
hospital. If you are hospitalized it is important for you or a
family member or friend to inform the pastor and church office.
You may call 440-845-2060 to reach pastor and the church office.
Remember that you cannot depend on the hospital to call the church
office or pastor anymore.
